Sagan-1 is the first world encountered by the player in Iron Marines.
Description[]
Sagan-1 is an alien infested planet where Etherium is mined. It is a very rocky terrestrial planet rich in mineral outcroppings and alien biodiversity that orbits a faraway red star. The strange pink color many of the rocks and sediment have is most likely due to large amounts of iron which can give off that pinkish hue.
It appears to have some sort of pressurized atmosphere since human units can be seen not wearing things such as helmets and being completely fine, as well as chemical reactions, such as fire, being able to take place.
