Sagan 1[]

Sagan-1 is the first world encountered by the player in Iron Marines.

1 First Contact “Our colony on Sagan-1 has been invaded by unknown aliens life form. As the only Iron Marines forces in the area, we must assist the colonist and retrieve the Etherium deposits. Defeat all enemies in the area
2 Distress call The invading alien forces, the Fell, attacked the Central ComSat before we could transmit a warning message to Earth. A strike team must be sent to secure our interstellar comms until we can contact our planet. We will need reinforcements to defend Sagan-1. Recover and protect our Central Comsat installation
3 Retaliation Our sensors have located a Fell cluster close to our position. We suspect that a main spawner may be there multiplying our enemies’ numbers. Locate and destroy the enemy’s main Refinery in the area
4 Unto the breach The Fell breached our outer defences and disabled our Plasma Cannon. Scouts report that a massive enemy force is rushing to that location right now. We must restore the cannon’s batteries to repel the enemy attack, or everything weve worked for will be lost Restore power to our Plasma Cannon
5 Search And Rescue The attack on our Plasma Cannon was a distraction! Communications with Settlement Alpha has been lost. Bioscans detect two unidentified alien lifeforms (Guardians) in the area. A tactical team will be deployed to investigate and extract any surviving colonists. Regain control of settlement Alpha.
6 Diplomatic Affair An alliance with the newfound Empyrean race is key if we plan to repel the Fell. The Ambassadress they’ve sent our way to sign it has crash landed in enemy territory due to a meteor storm ravaging the area. Some of her Guardians will be aiding us in this critical task. Locate the Ambassadress and escort her to the extraction shuttle.
7 Cocoon Our psychic allies sensed a massive enemy gathering, protecting a huge egg bearing a much stronger Fell than any we’ve encountered so far. Our soldiers have begun to call it Bishop. We believe that it could hold the key to understanding their weaknesses. Defeat the Fell Bishop
8 War Of Attrition Autopsy of the Fell Bishop indicated that the Fell are ruled by a single immense power, codename Tyrant. We must use our Etherwatt’s storage with caution, as this being has great regenerative capabilities, and even stronger destructive ones. Destroy the Fell Tyrant to eliminate the alien threat on Sagan-1.

Ascendaar[]

Ascendaar is the second planet in Iron Marines. It has 6 missions and 8 spec ops missions.

9 Eye Contact Ascendaar is an isolated, fortress like world. Our only chance is to drop capsules with a few elite squads, and neutralize one of the Peripheroids' Blaster Eyes. Our master pilot trusts us to be able to maneuver the ship through that narrow blind space in their defences. Neutralize Peripheroids' Blaster Eyes.
10 Factory Strike It seems the Peripheroids have been studying our defences with their incursions. A greater assault is imminent; we need to recharge our nearly-dead batteries. We must attack a nearby factory and make our way to it's energy supply centre. Destroy the factory's central Refinery
11 Data Breach We must infiltrate the Peripheroids' data centre and extract its Core Processor before they eradicate us from the planet. It's our only chance to find out where they're holding the hostages. Capture and extract the Peripheroid Core Processor
12 Overclocking This remote storage area gives us a slight tactical advantage, but we are surrounded by Peripheroids forces. Time is a scarce resource for us, but we must make it last until our hackerman breaks the code. Protect the main refinery for 10 minutes.
13 Ghost in the Shell Our efforts paid off, we have the location of the hostages. They are within the main Peripheroids fortress. The data marks some coordinates as a refugee for someone whom these robots hate and fear. As it is taught in the academy, <<the enemy of my enemy...>> Find out what's in the area threatening the Peripheroids.
14 Return of the Ascendii We woke the last of the Ascendii, a robotic race that evolved on this planet. Pursuing enlightenment they create their own god, MR: Rob070. But it ends transforming them into Peripheroids. The Ascendii knows a way to break into this robotic god's bastion. Defeat the Mainframe Root: Rob070

Borealis[]

Borealis is the third and final planet in Iron Marines. It has 7 missions and 5 Spec Ops missions.

15 Ice Breaker An unexpected threat has interrupted our scientific mission in Borealis. The main village of the peaceful Yga'r is being attacked. Energetic beings in sophisticated containment suits advance destroying everything in their path. Our allies are in danger! Protect 40 Ga'r harvesters until they reach the refuge safely.
16 Space Invaders The Raad are preparing a large reserve of vehicles in a nearby area to raze the Yga'r's capital.The territory is really inhospitable, as even the lakes have frozen into polished and slippery ice by the glacial winds.We must brave these harsh lands and destroy those vehicles. Locate and destroy the Raad's vehicle reserve.
17 Game of Horns The mighty fortified wall of the Fenga'r, brave warriors of the Ga'r people, has fallen to Raad hands. The Ga'r King needs our help to reach the Horn of Blasting to rally all Fenga'r to war.

As expected, this legendary horn is at the very center of the main fortress.

Keep the Ga'r King alive until he blows the Horn of Blasting.
18 33 Seconds As we advance, the Fenrir attacks have become fiercer. Besides, Raad have been launching assaults constantly. We don't know why they are opening portals every 33 seconds but we have set a timer to be prepared. We must stop Fenrir attacks and resist the Raad until they drain their energy reserves. Protect the Main Base until we can collapse the Fenrir's bone lair.
19 Great Balls of Ice Journeying across these mountains of madness, we had endured perils aplenty. Now the Raad have turned even nature against us.

A strange device is making the mountains tremble and break in huge pieces of ice that roll down falling onto our army. We must climb the peak and destroy the device.

Stop the avalanches by destroying the Raad's apparatus.
20 A Bridge Not Too Far The fate of the war rests on a titanic piece of ice crossing a frosty river. As we struggle to cross this natural bridge, a huge energy being is about to enter Borealis throught a portal beyond the other shore. The Raad placed 3 devices to destroy the ice, leaving our heavy tanks stranded and unable to arrive in time to shatter the portal. Destroy the 3 Raad Pylons before they cause the bridge to collapse.
21 From Beyond the Stars The Raad have just activated the Hyper-Portals to call their Master. If this deadful creature manages to pass into our galaxy the Raad will become unstoppable. Our only hope is our trans-dimensional tanks, the Tortugones. As they can't enter the Hyper-Portals if any enemy is passing through, we must clear their path. Command each Tortugon until it destroys the Hyper-portal

By inspecting the Crimson Vulture's ship and with the Urkins information, we discovered the next target is this planet where one of our classified Federation bases is located.

This base holds experimental military technology very important to the Federation.

In this planet's surface resides a supersecret research center that studies the functioning of Nexus's hand, the Raad leader defeated long ago in Borealis. Transmission with the scientists has been lost after notifying of the Raad assaulting the facility. No contact with the Empyrean Guards that protected the scientists was possible either. We must prevent the Raad from obtaining the Hand of Nexus. Find the secret lab and protect the artifact.

The factory on the Nasasu Gamma planet has been attacked by the Crimson Vultures. They've taken control of five high tech Mechas.

The Rangers that guarded them have betrayed us. The Vultures want to use these Mechas as models, to build their own army. Get close to an Etherium reserve to capture it.

Stop the stolen Mechas from leaving the planet.

Manaari
The Vultures have been providing information to the Raad in exchange of equipment. We found a strongly defended base of operations for their criminal organization in the middle of the dune sea in Manaari.

Their Command Center seems to be where this exchange is taking place between them and the Raad.

A high-ranking member of the Crimson Vultures is currently a prisoner of the Federation awaiting the arrival of the Prison Ship. This individual possesses vital information regarding plans for future attacks. The Vulture forces have been concentrating in the area, no doubt intending to free him. We must strengthen our defenses and prevent the Vultures from releasing this prisoner until he can be transferred to a maximum security prison. Prevent the Vultures from releasing their chief.

Chir I
A powerful Raad fleet has been detected flying over the planet Chir I with enough power to overrun it.

The Federation has a base there close to the planet's coast, though it has been abandoned for a long time. If we can re-establish the base, the Raad will have no chance to take Chir I.

One of the Federation's Etherium production centers has abruptly cut all communcations, and Etherium production with it.

A Raad fleet was detected heading to the planet shortly before this happened. If the Raad take control of all Etherium reserves there, other planets in the sector will be left without energy for their defenses.

Take control of all Etherium reserves. The enemy cannot be allowed to hold all of the Refineries.

On the Empyrean world of Malcai, Sophos, the oldest Empyrean still alive, has entered a deep state of trance since the disaster on Empyrea. His knowledge of the Ether and the Void surpasses that of any other member of his race.

The Dark Empyrean have opened voidpaths to send troops to find him and kill him. We must escort the sage offworld before more Dark Empyrean arrive.

Sophos might be the last hope to save the Empyrean race from the Void.

Sagunit
In retaliation for helping Sophos escape, the Dark Empyrean have attacked our base on the swamp planet of Sagunit. Their forces captured a member of the Federation Council and they barricaded themselves in the base.

They demand we deliver Sophos or they will execute the Arturian emissary, like they did with our soldiers.

We must eliminate the Dark Empyrean presence and rescue the emissary.

The Crimson Vultures have developed a new model of Executioner, capable of disabling any target it hits with its blast.

They have uncovered an ancient artifact on this planet that is said to have stabilized colossal mechs from the distant past. Since these new Executioners become unstable with their current power source, the Vultures aim to seize the artifact to learn how to stabilize them.

We must stop them from acquiring it.

Prevent the Crimson Vultures from capturing the artifact.

The Raad are back to assault Borealis. Because of its peculiar Etherium Core, the planet is the only one that could be transformed into a Geon Supercarrier once modified and aligned. A group of elite Geon units, along with a battalion of Veteran Pyron Chargers, have been sent to oversee the completion of the planetary transformation. This could be the reason, unknown until now, that Borealis was chosen for it previous invasion attempt. If Nexus plan was to pilot Borealis, could this be another attempt by a Raad Lord to enter our Galaxy? Destroy the Geonifiers powering the Crystal

Agents infiltrated among the Dark Empyrean warn us of a ritual of extraordinary malignancy that they will soon perform on this planet. We have little information, but everything points to the summoning of an abominable creature from the depths of the Void.

Something so terrible that even the Dark Empyrean were hesitant to invoke it.

Stop the ritual and defeat any creature the Dark Empyrean invoke.

Following the trail of the Vibranite that powers the Dischargers, we have arrived on Nostag, a primitive planet outside the Federation's protection. The planet's inhabitants, the Maluhia tribe, along with Anussa, their leader, have been enslaved by the Crimson Vultures.

The natives have been taken to the mines where they extract the mineral, as they are naturally immune to its effects.

A new Vulture, the Vor, keep the prisoners in line with their energy weapons. We must find and rescue Anussa from the mines and get her back to her village safely, to lead her people to freedom.

Comm station in Trosga V has sent important news. They have accidentally intercepted a Raad transmission and assembled an improvised energy grid to convert the ComSat into a decryption machine. Unfortunately, the Raad discovered this and are sending troops to destroy the Comm Station.

We must protect the Station while it decrypts the message.

Protect the SatCom from the incoming Raad attacks.

We have received a distress signal coming from Leira Prime, a message from the Fell. They have established a hive colony on the planet and inform us the Raad have once more located them, looking to exterminate their new leaders, the Ancients, before they finish their evolution. As the Raad still look to eradicate them, we have to save them. We must make haste. The enemy of our enemy may be our new ally. Protect the Fell Ancients until their Cocoons hatch.

The Raad have opened a huge portal in space through which they intend to give access to one of their Raad Lords.

A nearby orbital station was hijacked by the Dark. His plan is to direct it towards the Sun of that solar system causing a supernova that would destroy all the nearby worlds. The process would eliminate one of the powerful Raad Lords but it would also be the end of entire races. One of the Ancient Fell, honoring his recent alliance, he has volunteered to help us stop them.

Take back the Orbital station's control. The Fell Ancient must not die.

Our agents have followed the trail of the Vibranite. On the planet Conag-II, the Vultures have set up Processors that refine Vibranite to create a new arsenal of bombs.

The energy from the refined ore still affects our troops, so we can't easily destroy them. Anussa has volunteered to help us, as she is immune to the 0paralyzing effects of Vibranite.

We will provide protection for her to destroy the processors before the Vultures can make their bombs.

Guide Anussa as she captures and destroys each Processor. Anussa must not die.

We managed to get information from the Gangalorian prisoner. Thanks to this information, we have discovered a fortified Vulture base on the planet Sagan-1. According to the report, the Vultures are planning a big strike against the Federation along with the Raad, and part of the plan is in that fortress. Commander! Dark Empyrean forces have also been detected in the area as well. We must move quickly to capture the Vultures' fortress and their secret plans.

Be careful, facing three enemies at once could be deadly!

We must help him to enter so he can use those codes and activate the automatic defenses of the base.

He has built a giant vehicle out of different pieces stolen from across the galaxy. He's trying to reach the Federation's main arsenal and gather the weapons to build his own military empire.

Commander, we must protect the arsenal and stop Ruin's assault in its tracks!

Having detected a Raad fleet in orbit around a planet, the Federation dispatched their top five star cruisers. The last ones still operational after so many battles on so many fronts.

Upon arrival it was clear that it was a trap, the Raad have a device on the planet, a Raad Tactical Center that allows their ships to find weak points in our battle strategies.

We must send an elite force to the planet to destroy that device as soon as possible. Our ships will not be able to win in these conditions!

Empyrea's fragments
Sophos has awoken from his trance. In it, he had a vision about darkness spreading across the universe, and an eye overseeing it.

He sensed the darkness's origins lie within Memory Shards on the remnants of Empyrea.

Unfortunately, after Empyrea exploded, the debris was exposed to the full intensity of cosmic radiation and swarmed with creatures from the Void. Sophos claims he can protect us from the radiation if we take him to Empyrea to investigate its past.

We must hurry, if Sophos's visions are true, there might be a threat even larger than the Raad to face.

After his visions on Empyrea, Sophos has told us where the Herald's secret location is.

A world surrounded by a nebula that interferes with all navigation systems called Leuman X.

While the assault on the planet was being prepared, a strong spike in radiation was detected emanating from the nebula.

There are no doubts the Herald is using the Void to bring something powerful and nefarious from its depths.

The Herald must be prevented from giving the Void access to our galaxy.

Use caution, Commander. If what they say is true, such information could end this war.

Nexus, the Raad General defeated many years ago on Borealis, has returned as the Raad Supreme Leader

He plans to complete his conquest by destroying Ascendaar, the Federation's political capital.

If Ascendaar falls, the Federation's command structure will be shattered, leaving us defenseless against the Raad.

Nexus must be defeated once and for all, without giving him a chance to escape!

One of our Raad allies has decided to join us in the fight. Whatever the outcome, this will be our final battle with the Raad.
